1. SUNDAY RILEY Luna Sleeping Night Oil

I was SO excited to try this product because I’ve read tons of reviews calling it a holy grail item and I love Sunday Riley.  I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed after trying it.  I used it four consecutive nights and I didn’t really see any difference except my skin felt a bit oily when I woke up in the morning.  I had high hopes but I’m not loving this product.

This ultra concentrated toning gel smells amazing!  I definitely think it helped to calm my skin and make it look toned and even, but I am confused by the price point because I think it’s a little high for this product.  I’m not familiar with the Feel brand, but in this price range I think there are other products I would rather purchase.

3. Olay Regenerist Whip Facial Moisturizer

I’ve talked about my love for this product before (read about it here), it’s lightweight and amazing!

This blue eyeliner is a shade of electric blue that isn’t really my style.  If you are looking for a statement item, this would be a good fit, but for me this doesn’t really fit my usual aesthetic.

5. MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil: Eye, Lip & Brow Pencil

I don’t usually wear red on my lips but I do really like this shade and it seems like a quality product.  I am never disappointed with anything I try from Makeup Forever.  I think the combo eye/lip/brow pencil is interesting in theory, but I don’t think it really makes sense in reality.  This red would be great for lips, but I can’t imagine why they would market it to be used three ways.

6. The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm

I love that this product is all natural because I try to avoid harmful chemicals where possible.  However, I don’t think that the product warrants the $21.50 price tag.  It feels good on my lips but it goes away fairly quickly and I don’t feel that it provides much lasting hydration.  I think for this price, there are much better products out there.

7. DERMA E Online Only Sun Protection Mineral Face Powder SPF 30

I stopped using mineral foundations a few years ago because I found that overall they made my skin look dry and dull.  I like the concept of sun protection that this product offers, but initially I wasn’t too excited about it.  I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised.  I love the color, it was a perfect match for me, and the consistency didn’t make my skin look dry.  I’ve been reading quite a bit about the benefits of mineral makeup (check out this article from Byrdie) so I am definitely going to give this product a try long term.

8. OUAI Leave-In Conditioner

I’ve been compiling some Ouai products to test out for a dedicated blog post because I’ve heard so many great things about this brand.  (More on that coming soon).  This leave-in IS AMAZING.  My hair is incredibly dry and most leave ins aren’t intense enough to provide me with any hydration but after using this product, my hair feels like silk.  Without a doubt I will be purchasing this and incorporating it into my routine.
