This product is good as far as traditional makeup removers are concerned. I don’t usually use this type of a product, I much prefer the lighter but effective feeling of a micellar water. This is definitely a longstanding classic, but isn’t a great fit for me personally.
It’s not that this is a bad product, I’m just so tired of receiving it over and over in beauty boxes and as my Sephora birthday gift. While I think it’s a nice lip crayon, at this point I have too many and I don’t find myself reaching for it often enough to ever justify purchasing it. The good points are that it is precise and hydrating, the downside for me is it feels too much like a lipstick for my more natural daily makeup routine.
I was really disappointed to see this product included in my box because I’ve reviewed it before and I really don’t like it. The reason I don’t like this product is not because it is not effective, but because the smell is terrible. It has a really strong scent that reminds me of bug spray and because of that I just can’t use it.
This product is new to me and I was excited to try it. It is a mask that you leave on overnight and then wash off in the morning which I love. I definitely think my skin looked firmer and refreshed the next morning, but not enough to where I would want to run out and buy the product, especially at a Kiehls price point. It’s good, but not a must have.
I love Drunk Elephant products and was happy to see a new one included in my beauty box. This product is decent, but so similar to other cleansing balms by Clinique and Farmacy that I’ve tried. If you love a cleansing balm, this one is excellent quality and effective, I’m just not that into cleansing balms in general.
This fragrance from Marc Jacobs is a floral mix of white raspberry, daisy tree petals and sugar musk. I really enjoyed the scent and felt that it lasted well throughout the day. It’s a good option for summer, but I have too many other scents that I’m already obsessed with so I’ll have to pass on this one for now.
